Co-founder of Causeway Law Claire Thorogood (firstname.lastname@example.org) trained with City firm Trowers & Hamlins and then in the commercial litigation team at Harbottle & Lewis. Claire moved to specialise in employment litigation at the Treasury Solicitor’s Department acting on behalf of Government Departments including the Home Office. Claire developed particular expertise in discrimination claims and frequently delivered training to a wide array of employers including the Police. Claire further advised on non-contentious employment matters such as redundancy and pensions. Since co-founding Causeway Law, Claire has acted successfully for senior executives in financial services in their workplace disputes, on their termination negotiations and in litigation and mediation. She has successfully negotiated 6-figure settlements for executives in discrimination and harassment claims. Claire is a member of Women on Boards UK and Co-Chair of the London Evelina Child Health Programme Board.
